Emmerson Mnangawa :- Zimbabwe's Former Vice President Emmerson Mangagwa will be sworn in as the President of the country The ruling ZANU-PF pary has nominated him to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Robert Mugabe. Mr. Mugabe stepped down after 37 of years ruling the country.
Mr. Mnangagwa's dismissal from the Vice President Post led the ruling party and the militry to intervene and forced Mr. Mugabe to resign. He told people in capital Harare that they were witnessing unfolding and full democracy. He also vowed to create jobs in the country.
B.N Sharma :- Senior IAS Officer BN Sharma was appointed as the chairman of National Anti- Profiteering Aurthority. the post of NAA Chairman is equivalent to the rank of Secretary to Union Government.
As the chairman of NAA, BN Sharma is expected to boost the confidece of consumers that GST is a " Good and simple Tax" in the overall national interest.
He will be assisted by four officals of the rank of joint Secretary and have been appointed as Technical Members in the authority.
These Officials are Jc Chauhan, Chairman of Tax Tribunal of Himachal Pradesh; Bijay kumar, Pricncipal Commissioner GST Of Kolkata; CL Mahar, pricncipal Commissionar GST Of merrut and R Bhagyadevi, ADG Systems at chennai.
National Anti-Profiteering Authority:- It is a apex body formed in November 2017, which is mandated to esure that the benefits of the reduction in GST rates on goods or services are passed on the ultimate consumers by way pf a reduction in prices. It is headed by a senior officer of the level of secretary from the centre and or the states.
Quarraisha Abdool Karim :- Accalaimed south African Indain-Origin Professor Quarraisha Abdool Karim was appoionted as a UNAIDS special Ambassador for Adolescents and HIV.
Professor Abdool Karim is one of the world's leading AIDS reserchesrs. she has made pioneering contributions in understandings the HIV epidemic among young people especially among young women.
Pradeep Singh Kharola :- Pradeep Kumar singh Kharola, a 1985 Karnataka cadre officer, has been appointed as the new chairman and managing director of AIR INDIA. Kharola is currently Managing Dirctorm Banglore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. The announcement comes days after the Governments extended the tenure of RAJIV BANSAL, who had taken charge for a three- month period time ASHWANI LOHANI who was shifted as the chairman of RAILWAY BOARD in August.
Kharola was also the principal secetary to the then Chif Minister Jagdish Shettar of the BJP.
Shashikant Das ;- Former Secretary in Department of Economic Affairs Shaktikanta Das has been appointed as India's G20 Shepra till december 31, 2018 for the development Track of Niti Ayog Vice Chair man Arvind Panagariya to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to finda full time Shepra for g20 talks as INDIA'S role is expanding in the globaljhj arena.
Sherpas in G20 :- Sherpas are representative of leaders of G20 memeber countries, coordinate on the agenda of the summit. There are two tracks in g-20 Developments Track and Finance Track. Development Track is coordinated by the Sherpa and the Finance Track is managed by the sceratory as India's Deputy to G-20 The Department of Economic Affairs will provide support to sherpa.
Narendra Batra ;- Head of the International Hockey Fedration, Narindar Batra has become the president of the Indain Olymipc Association.
He defended his oppenent Anil Khanna got only 13 votes. Narindar Batra got 142 votes and Anil Khanna got 13 votes.
Narindar Batra will remain in office for four years. This election was conducted under the supervision of the three member Election Commission, which inclue two retired judge of the HIGH COURT while the legal advisior to the Electrician Commission of India, S.K. Mandiratta, was the election officer. Narrider Batra will hold this post for a period of four years from 2018to 2022.

Parekh as chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Company Effective Janauary 2,2018 Parekh joins infosys from Capegmini where he wa a member of the Group Executive Board . He has master of Engineering degrees in computer science and mechanical Engineering from cornell univercity, and a Bachlor of Technolgy degree in Aeronautical Enginnering from the IIT, bombay.
